Morgan is our resident plant expert extraordinaire! From large species to small plants, Morgan possesses extensive plant identification knowledge and skillset when working with them. With over 17 years experience in landscaping, Morgan has the education to back up her working skills, she is an ISA Certified Arborist as well as an Organic Certified Master Gardener and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Morgan worked for most of her career, prior to being with Viking, in Vancouver working for high-end landscaping companies. Morgan is a valued member of the Viking team due to her positive attitude, her hard work ethic, her amazing customer service and her advanced skill set from hedges to trees and all in between! When Morgan isn’t at work she spends her time gardening, bee-keeping and enjoying the adventures on Vancouver Island with her son!

Austin grew up in Qualicum Beach and has worked in the tree service industry as an advanced climber for over 14 years. Austin is a ISA Certified Arborist and has extensive knowledge of all aspects of tree work from pruning and hedging to large, technical projects. In addition to his vast knowledge of the industry and pristine safety record, Austin brings to the Viking team a positive attitude, a willingness to teach and learn at the same time as well as project management skills and great client and team communication. When Austin isn’t working with the Viking crew, he spends his free time going to the gym, surfing and enjoying all the outdoor activities the island has to offer!

Gage is the youngest member of the Viking team. He has experience in heavy machinery operations, landscaping and welding, millwork and more. Gage is our apprentice in the Arborist Technician program through Skilled Trades BC. Gage is friendly, hardworking and eager to gain further skills in arboriculture and he is learning from such a great team!

Megan is our Office Manager. As a director of Viking Tree Care, Megan brings a vast knowledge of office management and administration. Megan’s background allows her to excel in customer service and scheduling which is of the utmost value in this industry! Megan has her undergraduate degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Megan loves working with people and makes sure the team has everything they need to work safely and provide our clients with what they need. In her spare time, Megan loves to spend time with her family, gardening and home improvements as well as her doggies and daughter.
